Happy Memories for Fellowship members

MEMBERS of Ballywillan Men’s Fellowship spent a hugely enjoyable morning in the company of David Martin, the well-known Coleraine businessman, who titled his talk “Changing Times”.

Looking back to his childhood in Belfast and then to his early days as an apprentice jeweller, David kept his audience enthralled, and frequently “in stitches”, with his reminiscences of life in the city in the 1960s and of some of the wonderful characters he encountered.

His lively sense of humour, combined with a natural talent as a storyteller, resulted in the time passing all too quickly and David has promised to visit the Fellowship again to continue his story of his life and tell how he came to settle in the Coleraine district.

He was thanked by president Dr. Michael Gardiner.
