Hard of hearing club

THE Ballymena Club for the Hard of Hearing met recently for their monthly meeting.

The speaker was Wilbert Garvin, who spoke about the Ulster-Scots dialect of the Poets of the Sixmile Water Valley.

The next club meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 14 from 7.30pm until 9pm in the Business Centre, Ballykeel.

The guest speaker will be Linda Quail and the subject will be jewellery making.

All hearing impaired people and their families and friends are welcome at club meetings.

The club also runs lip reading classes each Saturday morning at the same venue from 10.20 till noon.
