Parents, carers and children, aged between four and eight took part in the eight week initiative backed by Save the Children and endorsed by the United Nations.

Over the eight sessions parents learned to lead their children in activities like singing, family games and sitting down together to eat a family meal.

Parents were also supported in setting boundaries.

The aim was to provide a fun, relaxed space for families to experience a mix of play and learning.

FAST has enjoyed high success rates in improving family relations and links between school and the local community.
