Hate Maths? No, it’s magic!

Step aside magicians - here come the MATH-a-Magicians and they have been visiting some local schools!

For Cahoots NI theatre company recently visited St Joseph’s Primary School in Dunloy who, together with St Brigid’s Primary School Cloughmills, enjoyed Lights, Camera, Math ‘a’ Magic.

At the end of the performances, pupils were presented with their very own Cahoots NI Math ‘a’ Magic book which contains instructions and guidance on how to become a Math ‘a’ Magician - a fantastic learning tool.

“The Lights, Camera, Math ‘a’ Magic performance combines the mystery of magic with the magic of maths to make an unforgettable multi-media learning experience,” explained Cahoots NI Artistic Director Paul McEneaney.

Vicky Baird, Youth Co-ordinator, Danske Bank Ballymoney said: “Our innovative partnership with Cahoots NI continues to bring maths learning to life in a fun way, and is a central part of Danske Bank’s community programme. Not only is maths in the classroom, it is all around us every day at home and at work. We hope all pupils will enjoy the fantastic show created by our friends at Cahoots NI and that they will be enthused enough to amaze teachers, friends and family using the handy booklet at home and in the classroom.”
