Have a heart for Haiti this Saturday

VALENTINE'S weekend is not just for lovers this year. Tesco staff and managment are planning a fundraising day for the Haiti disaster fund. This Saturday, February 13, staff are asking customers to have a heart by donating some of their spare change to this worthy cause.

They are also holding a dress-down day while the children are entertained by a balloon modeller and face painters will be on hand for the day.

Giles Conlon, manager of Iveagh Movies will also be supporting the cause by bringing his smart car along to show some clips from forthcoming movies.

Fun starts at 12 noon and will go on to 4pm with collections at the door all day. Tesco home shopping team will also hold a disco in Banbridge Football Club on Saturday February 27 and tickets are available from Tesco and are priced at 5 each.

Anyone who would like to come along this Saturday and lend a hand by collecting or even painting faces can ring Angela Campbell at Tesco 40629301.
