Have say on future of local schools
THE North Eastern Education and Library Board is actively encouraging local people to express their views on proposals for the future provision of post primary education in the Newtownabbey area.
The Area Plan proposals, which could lead to the merger of a number of local secondary schools in the borough, were published on July 5 and consultation remains open until October 26.
