Have you got the Arrrrrrrr Factor?

LARNE'S Pirate Festival is giving singers and musical groups from throughout the borough the chance to show off their talents in the Arr Factor Sea Shanty competition.

If you are a vocal group, choir, band or soloist or simply just want to perform, then the festival organisers want to hear from you.

To qualify, performers must perform a sea shanty or maritime-themed song.

Heats for the competition will start on Monday. Three acts will be selected for the live final which will take place on Saturday, June 19 at Broadway Bandstand, Larne.

Winners of the Arr Factor will win the coveted pirate treasure of 100.

To take part in the sea shanty competition, pick up a registration form from Larne Tourist Information Centre, Larne Museum and Arts Centre or email [email protected]

The deadline for entries is tomorr ow (Friday).
