The meetings will be a unique opportunity for residents, local groups, businesses and statutory agencies to come together to consider the key priorities for the development of both villages over next five years.

Alpha NI Ltd., who is leading the consultation, is very keen that all views in regard to the development of Macosquin and Articlave are heard and as many people as possible attend.

Both Macosquin Village Community Association and Articlave Community and Development Group have received financial support for the development of the plans through the North East Rural Development’s Village Renewal measure (which is being part funded under Axis 3&4 of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 through the European Union and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development).

The groups would also wish to acknowledge the support that they have received from Coleraine Borough Council in managing and delivering the project thus far.
