Health Minister discusses drugs issue at meeting
Health Minister, Edwin Poots has met with representatives of REACT Ltd to discuss the ongoing issue of drugs in Banbridge.
Upper Bann MP David Simpson, who organised the meeting said: “This meeting was arranged to give community groups such as REACT the opportunity to show our Health Minister at first hand the hard work and dedication they are putting into the Banbridge area to tackle the growing scourge of drugs in our area.
“We cannot underestimate the seriousness of the task in hand to eradicate this problem.”
“The work REACT do is imperative to improving the livelihoods and future careers of our young people and I endeavour to support and encourage the work they do.”
