The volunteer will help to promote the role that donations play in the lifesaving work of the charity.

The money raised will help work such as the 122 BHF Northern Ireland-funded healthcare professionals who provide support to thousands of families living with the devastating effects of heart disease every year.

Gary Wilson, BHF Northern Ireland’s Fundraising and Volunteer manager, said: “In Memoriam volunteers are absolutely essential to the work of BHF Northern Ireland, helping us to raise vital funds and ensuring a good service is provided to families that have chosen BHF Northern Ireland after losing a loved one.

“The type of person we are looking for is someone who can commit a couple of hours a month, enjoys making new friends, has some experience in an admin role and will get a buzz from knowing they are helping local heart patients by what they are doing.”
