‘Heart Hero’ Award delight

COLERAINE has scooped a Heart Hero award for its outstanding dedication and commitment to BHF Northern Ireland since it became a Heart Town.

Earlier this year, Coleraine Borough Council held a month long series of activities including collections, CPR training, Heart Health Information days and a sponsored paddle board by DJ Alan Simpson which helped raise awareness of the partnership in the local community.

Coleraine also launched their first Heart Walk where local families and friends came together and took part in a 2.5 mile sponsored walk along the banks of the River Bann.
