Constable Tracy Flynn, the investigating officer, said that the bag contained items of a sentimental value.

She added: “On November 29 a vehicle was broken into in the Celtic Park car park area of the city and a black ‘Michael Kors’ leather handbag containing multiple items was stolen.

“The bags’ contents included a USB stick with 700 wedding photos from the owner’s recent wedding. The USB is quite distinctive in that it is in a small wooden box with the name of a photographic company engraved on it. The USB also has the company name printed on it.

“The ‘Michael Kors’ handbag was a wedding present from the woman’s husband and it also contained vouchers gifted to the couple from guests.”

Information can be given to police on the 101 non-emergency number, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
