Help at hand to take those first Steps to Work
THE Department for Employment and Learning , Banbridge District Council and People 1st are taking steps to combat the economic downturn in the district and surrounding areas.
Working in partnership, the groups are part of the Banbridge District Economic Task Force which will soon distribute a range of information to local businesses, highlighting the potential economic benefits of the Steps to Work programme.
Since it's launch in September 2008, this Government-funded programme has been bringing many benefits to businesses throughout Northern Ireland while at the same time helping unemployed people gain valuable work experience as well as improve their employment prospects.
