Help to address fuel poverty in Larne
MP for East Antrim Sammy Wilson has welcomed the announcement of £1.8m for the Northern Zone Warm Homes project, which will benefit families across Larne borough.
The project addresses poorly insulated homes in nine disadvantaged areas of the northern zone, one of nine zones to bid for £80m from the Social Investment Fund. In a statement, Mr Wilson said: “Fuel bills are a huge worry for low income families. This is a real way in which the Northern Ireland Executive is seeking to help alleviate that financial burden.”
