Helping to deal with eating disorders

EATING disorders are not just primarily about food, they are about feelings that are making people unhappy or depressed.

Eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating include extreme emotions, attitudes and behaviours surrounding weight and food issues.

When someone starts high school or college it can be challenging time for many young people. Each young person deals with this in different ways. Unfortunately for some, they use food as a way to cope with life changing events for example: exam pressure/ peer pressure.
