Heritage training course at the Old Schoolhouse

As part of the Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme, RAPID is to host a heritage training course aimed at community representatives, volunteers or local people interested in the natural and built heritage.

LANTRA accredited, it will take place in the Old School, Killaloo.

The course is part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Faughan Valley Landscape Scheme and will take place over five consecutive days from Monda, November 10 to Friday, November 14 and is designed for people who have a keen interest in local heritage. It will involve learning about the natural environment, geology, archaeology, buildings and general history of the Faughan Valley Landscape. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is free of charge.
