High School caretaker dies at quarry
An investigation has been launched after a caretaker at Coleraine High School died in an accident involving a digger at a quarry site.
Father-of-two Albert Kane from Coleraine was killed when a digger bucket fell and fatally injured him while he was helping carry out repair work.
A spokesman for the PSNI confirmed that the Health and Safety Executive had been made aware of the incident and an investigation had been launched.
