High School reunion for Hospice

FOLLOWING the great success of the Banbridge High School reunion last year, the organisers have decided to host a 20-year reunion - with all proceeds going to the Southern Area Hospice.

Kelly McClimond and Garth Wills said they are looking forward to dancing the night away with fellow past pupils and teachers at the Belmont on Friday February 17.

Admission is by ticket only and each costs £10. Former teacher David Elliott will be in attendance on the night alongside a number of other teachers. Kelly said she would like to thank Mo and Ann Bell for sponsoring the posters and Garth Wills for helping to organise this second event.

Last year’s reunion raised £3,050 and Kelly hopes to top this staggering figure this year. She said, “I would appeal to anyone who can buy a ticket and attend on the night to do so. It will be great fun and all money raised goes to a great cause in the Southern Area Hospice. It takes £215 to keep the Hospice open for one hour each day, so all money will be greatly appreciated.”
