High School success in Spirit on Enniskillen scheme

OVER the years Ballycastle High School has enjoyed considerable success in the highly regarded Spirit of Enniskillen Scheme, and this year was no exception.

The spirit of Enniskillen Trust offers a wide range of programmes and courses which aim to develop leadership skills in some of the outstanding sixth formers in Northern Ireland, which will help them to make a positive contribution to our society.

This year three Ballycastle High sixth formers; Dorothy Nicholl, Rebekah Mc Farland and Claire Wilson were successful in the highly competitive selection process to gain places on the Explore programme.

The girls will have the opportunity to spend much of the summer abroad, participating in a wide range of leadership development activities. Rebekah will travel to Berlin in Germany, Dorothy to Maine in U.S.A. and Claire to Cyprus. All three girls are very much looking forward to the experiences and challenges that the programme will offer.
