High transfer evening postponed but school to reopen
BALLYMONEY High School postponed its annual Transfer Open Evening on Monday night and the event will now be held on January 21.
However the school, which was closed for a few days due to heating problems, will reopen tomorrow ( Thursday), January 14).
Speaking to the Times, Principal Mr Rodney Scott explained: "The school was closed from Monday due to heating problems. However all children were sent home with letters explaining that they had two days study leave for their forthcoming exams.
"The school will be back open as normal from tomorrow (Thursday) for these exams."
