Hijackers threaten driver with knife

POLICE are appealing for information after a driver was threatened with a knife during a hijacking incident in the Dunmurry area on Sunday night.

Shortly before 11.55pm two masked males approached a car outside business premises in the Stewartstown Road area. One of the robbers threatened the driver with a knife.

It is believed the vehicle made off towards Lisburn and it was later found close to the Twinbrook area. Enquiries are continuing.
