Hillhall Mens Fellowship visits council offices

Hillhall Mens Fellowship were invited to the council offices by Mayor Andrew Ewing last Thursday.

The evening began at 7.30pm with a tour of the council facilities and a presentation by the Mayor.

The Mayor accompanied by his colleague, Councillor Uel Mackin, invited questions from the floor and a number of topical questions were presented.

Following the question and answer session the men retired to the Mayor’s Parlour for refreshments and presented Mr Ewing with a donation for Marie Curie.

The next event for the Mens Fellowship will take place on Tuesday, January 20 2015 at 7.30pm when we will hear about the listening station at Gilnahurk during World War 2. Everyone is welcome to the event at Hillhall Presbyterian Church.”
