Hillhall WI
The March meeting of Hillhall W.I. was held in the Lisburn Civic Centre.
Members were there as the guests of the Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Margaret Tolerton, who gave them a most interesting tour and explained the meaning of the Lisburn Council Coat of Arms.
After an enjoyable supper each member was given a memento of the occasion. The Mayor was thanked by Vice President Sandra Dorman and was given a donation to the Mayor’s Charity, the Lagan Valley Diabetes Fund.
The monthly competition winners of a linen tray cloth were Heather Fleck, Katie Turner and Lorna Sleator.
