Hillsborough salon up for NI Hairdresser of the Year Award

A LOCAL hairdresser has reached the final of the prestigious Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year award at the British Hairdressing Awards.

Julie Cherry of Shane Bennett Salon, Hillsborough has been nominated for the award.

The British Hairdressing Awards, launched in 1984 by Hairdressers Journal International and sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, have celebrated and rewarded the best of British hairdressing creativity for 28 years and are renowned internationally as the ‘Oscars’ of the hairdressing world.

The finalists will have to wait until Monday 26th November, to find out if they will be awarded the title of Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year, when they attend a glittering awards ceremony hosted by a leading media personality at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
