His love is beyond comprehension
'My soul finds rest in God alone and my salvation.' Psalm 62:1
Do not let misgivings or dread of consequences
Dampen your courage or cause you to stray,
Rely on the Lord through every happening
He listens to His children pray.
His love goes far beyond all comprehension
‘Tis in looking to Him we learn how to live,
And living in childlike faith we find
Peace such as the world cannot give.
There’s no mountain too high when we realise
His loving presence is ever near,
Though things seem to be running against us
Close to Him there is nothing to fear.
So look up to Him gladly knowing
He will lead through the darkened way,
He cannot fail - for He is God
And puts purpose in all your days.
