Historical Society meeting

The next meeting of Banbridge Historical Society will take place on Thursday November 5, in The Old Town Hall, at 7.30pm.

Paul Clements is going to talk, about that well known Ulster writer, musician and actor, Richard Hayward. Paul also intends to show slides and a short DVD.

Richard Hayward had a lovely sense of humour with an enthusiastic appreciation of Ulster popular culture about which he wrote many books, ‘In Praise of Ulster’ being perhaps the most well known.
