Historical Society next meeting

MR John Cartwright has been collecting “Victorian Memorabilia” for many years and has built up a vast assortment of items long past their sell-by date. INcluded in his collection are artefacts of a domestic nature as well as agriculture, equine, road transport and railways to metnion just a few.

At the next meeting the group will have the opportunity to handle some of these items as they are discussed and passed around. And, said George Beattie, with Mr Cartwright’s jovial nature, we are assured of an interesting time.

The next meeting takes place on Thursday April 7 in Banbridge Library, beginning at 7.15pm and visitors are most welcome.
