Historical Society to hold first meeting
The first meeting of Banbridge Historical Society will take place on Thursday September 5 at 7.30pm in The Old Town Hall.
The speaker will be Dr. Margaret Ward who will talk on ‘The Suffragettes.’
Annual membership of the Historical Society is £15. Non-members are charged £15 per meeting. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and there are two annual outings, one in December, the other in June. New members and visitors will be made very welcome. Members are automatically members of F.U.L.S. (The Federation of Ulster Local Studies).
