This lodge was later named ‘The Pounden Lodge’ after the Rev William D Pounden, who was rector of Lisburn, a member of LOL 915 and Worshipful Master of Lisburn District for 38 years.

The one person in the photograph that is known at this time is George H. Clarke, JP, who was the Chairman of Lisburn Urban District Council, Worshipful Master of LOL 915 for 40 years, and Lisburn Deputy District Master for many years.

The historical society would like to expand their collection and are keen to hear from anyone with any old photographs.

If anyone has any old photographs of the loyal orders in the Lisburn area that they would allow to be copied they can contact the secretary Stephen on 07849 644 851 or via email at [email protected].

Alternatively, you could attend one of their events which will be held in the near future.
