Historical talk on Great War

The committee of Banbridge Historical Society have arranged an extremely interesting programme for the forthcoming season.

There is something to suit everyone with topics ranging from Maritine Stories of Old Newry, The Amish, to Patchwork Bed Covers and Coverlets 1750-1950 and Big Houses.

The Historical Society meets in the Old Town Hall on the first Thursday of every month from 7 30 - 9 00 pm. membership costs £15 for the year and that includes all talks and light refreshments.

It is a very friendly group and newcomers are always welcome. Visitors are also welcome and are charged £3 00 per session.

The next meeting of the Historical Society will be held on the 4th of September when Richard Edgar will talk about Ireland and the Great War.

This promises to be an interesting evening.
