History talk on Brownlow

It is part of the Community Outreach Group which reopens at 8 pm on Wednesday, January 8 in St Peter’s Parish Hall with this special presentation.

Entitled ‘John Hancock’s Letter Box - with particular reference to Charity Brownlow, 1820-1847’ it is one of several presentations on the history of the town which have proved to be of great interest.

Admission is open to all-comers and is free of charge. Light refreshments are served and a warm welcome is assured.

The committee wishes to express its thanks to all those who have supported the group throughout the past year and looks forward to its efforts in encouraging tolerance and reconciliation in the community during the incoming year.
