HMS Mersey sails into port
FOR the first time in decades a British warship has docked in Londonderry.
HMS Mersey will be playing an integral part of the Clipper Homecoming Festival’s second weekend of events.
Here the female Captain, Lt Com Sarah Oakley, talks to Londonderry Sentinel reporter, Olga Bradshaw, about being a lady Captain, the role of the ship and has a special greeting for the people of the Maiden City.
