Holiday rota forhealth concerns

The Health and Social Care Board together with the Northern Trust, local GPs, pharmacists and dentists have been working to ensure that local people have access to urgent care services over the Christmas and the New Year holiday period.

The following health and care arrangements will be in place should you or a member of your family become ill or have an accident.

The pharmacy rota arrangements are:

Christmas Day:

Ballycastle: F A McCaughan, 27 Ann Street, 12noon to 1pm.

Coleraine: Lloyds Pharmacy, Castlerock Road, 4pm to 5pm.

Boxing Day

Ballycastle: M A McMullan, 63 Castle Street, 12noon to 1pm.

New Year’s Day:

Ballycastle: M A McMullan, 63 Castle Street, 12noon to 1pm.

Dalriada Urgent Care will be operating from Wednesday evening, December 24 until practices open again on Monday, December 29.

On Christmas Eve from 1pm to 6pm, patients should ring their own GP practice and they will be directed to Dalriada Urgent Care if their practice is closed.

The will also be operating from Wednesday evening, December 31 until GP practices open on Friday, January 2. The telephone number is 028 2566 3500.
