The prehistoric comedy adventure follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed.

Paul Duncan, who grew up in Ruskin Park with his parents Keith and Sandra and sister Cathy, now lives in Glendale, Califorinia, with his wife Chantana, from Thailand, and five year old twin son and daughter.

Paul is a former pupil of Lisburn Central Primary School and Laurelhill Commuity College. After showing an interest in art throughout his school days, Paul spent his work experience with, and was later employed at CWS Glass design, then based in Hilden.

His dad, Keith Duncan, tries to visit his son at least once a year and said he and his wife are extremely proud of their son who in 1990 took time out to travel the world and expand on his experience before returning to Lisburn and setting up his own art studio at home to freelance for local businesses and advertising agencies, finally obtaining his green card and moving to Los Angeles in 1993 to further his career.

Keith said: “Paul joined Dreamworks animation in 1998. Since then he has been involved in a long list of productions notably Shark Tale, Over the Hedge, The Bee Movie, The Shrek series, Kung Fu Panda and the Croods 2013.

“The main promotional poster for the Croods website was created and painted by Paul.”
