Holy Trinity Church Choir sing in Armagh

Holy Trinity Church Choir, Banbridge recently sang Choral Evensong in Armagh Cathedral.

After the service the Dean Dunstan invited the choir to afternoon tea in the Deanery, which was a delightful occasion.

The Dean said: “I always enjoy Holy Trinity Church Choir’s visits to Armagh because such a lovely sound is produced.”

The choir enjoy singing in Armagh Cathedral because the acoustics are exceptional. They were delighted when one of the congregation stopped a member of the choir, and said how much she had enjoyed the singing.

Opportunities arise for Holy Trinity Church Choir to sing in various places throughout the year, and in the past the choir has travelled to places as far away as Dublin, Cork and Londonderry.

They enjoy fellowship together, and choir outings whether dining together or staying in hotels, are pleasant experiences.

The choir and organist, Dr. Stephen Timpany, would be delighted to welcome new members.
