Home-Start Causeway Volunteers supported by Comic Relief project
A GROUP of 13 local Home-Start Volunteers were recently given an opportunity to update their First Aid training.
The 'Infant and Child Lifesaving Skills' course was run over two full days and financed by Comic Relief. The organisers were delighted that so many of our volunteers were able to attend this course.
Home-Start Causeway works with very young children and it is reassuring to know what to do in an emergency. Every parent benefits from first aid training and we eagerly took the opportunity to update our skills.
Despite a few nerves before the exam, all the volunteers passed and happily accepted their certificates, which were presented on Samba night.
