Hospital visiting times

VISITING times have been announced for the area's hospitals.

People can visit patients in the adult, child and maternity wards of Craigavon Area Hospital between 3pm and 4pm, and 6.45pm and 8.15pm, while parents or carers of patients can visit freely anytime, and partners of patients can visit between 10am and 9.30pm.

The neo-natal unit at Craigavon is open only to parents and visiting hours at the intensive car unit are 2pm until 8.15pm.

Meanwhile at Daisy Hill Hospital all visiting hours are the same as Craigavon aside from the special baby care unit where it must be noted that siblings are not allowed to visit from October and April.

Relatives and friends can visit wards one, four and six of Lurgan Hospital between 3pm and 4pm, and 6.45pm and 8.15pm.

Visitors are encouraged to keep to adult wards during the allocated visiting times.

Intensive Care, High Dependency, Maternity, Children’s Ward, Neonatal and Special Care Baby units have different arrangements and in exceptional circumstances, visiting outside the normal hours may be agreed with staff.
