Host an afternoon tea

To mark World Arthritis day on October 12, Arthritis Care Northern Ireland is encouraging as many people from across Northern Ireland to hold an ‘Afternoon Tea for Arthritis Care’ to raise much needed funds to support the charity.

Northern Ireland’s Queen of Comedy Nuala McKeever took time out recently from rehearsing for her latest show to help Arthritis Care NI launch the event and to encourage local people and businesses across the province to take a tea break in aid of Arthritis Care NI.

Nuala said: “Taking part could not be easier. All you will need to do is make the tea, invite some friends or colleagues, and collect a donation for every cup poured.

“Arthritis Care NI helps thousands of people living with the pain of arthritis to cope with their condition and get on with their lives.”
