Hotel bosspleased with awardby peers

The boss of the White Horse Hotel says she’s delighted the local institution has been recognised for excellence of service at an awards ceremony organised by one of Ireland’s major hotel groups.

Ramona Wylie, Director of the Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel, said she was delighted with the accolades which were announced at the Best Western Awards held recently in Dublin.

Ms Wylie said: “Our staff work hard to ensure they deliver a great service to our guests at all times and aim to maintain a high standard throughout. These achievements are well deserved and we are very proud of them.”

The team walked away with two of the three awards presented annually, ‘Excellence in Customer Care’ and winner of the Customer Feedback Challenge.

Mary Blake, Council’s Tourism Development Officer said: “We are delighted to support Ramona Wylie and her team at the Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel which plays a significant role in our Rural Tourism Development Programme and is especially well placed to offer high quality Four Star guest accommodation, cuisine, and leisure facilities to visitors based in the FaughanValley and Derry City area.”
