House in Magherafelt destroyed in suspicious fire
A house has been completely destroyed in a suspicious fire at Magherafelt, police have said.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at the vacant property at the Ballyheifer Road area of Magherafelt on Tuesday moring of last week.
Sergeant Bruce Rhymer said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact Police at Magherafelt on the non-emergency number 101.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
