Housebuilding’s fantastic four win top awards

A previous first round winner, this year Ricky added a Seal of Excellence and Regional title to his collection, making a complicated design a reality on an apartment built to a meticulous standard.

He was one of three best housebuilding site managers in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man to have been recognised for their exemplary commitment to building new houses of outstanding quality, at the regional final of the industry’s most prestigious awards scheme.

The regional winners of the Pride in the Job Awards, run by NHBC (National House-Building Council), beat a shortlist of exceptionally skilled site managers to take the title in their categories. Their success was recognised recently at a ceremony held at the Culloden Hotel in Belfast. Chosen from over 13,000 site managers nationwide working on projects registered with NHBC, the UK’s leading new-home warranty and insurance provider, they will now represent Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man at the competition’s grand final in January, hoping to secure their place as the nation’s best housebuilder.
