Household furniture dumped

There were 26 incidents of illegal dumping in the Carrick area in October, the local borough council has said.

The figure was outlined in a report to the authority’s Environmental Services Committee last week.

Most of the cases involved the illegal dumping of household furniture.

Six Article 20 notices were issued and one fixed penalty was served.
