Householders greeted by knife-wielding strangers when they arrived home

The occupants of a house in the Culmore Road area were badly shaken after being greeted by knife-wielding strangers when they arrived home on Thursday.

They weren’t injured although the criminals did make off with a set of car keys.

Shortly before 8.30pm the occupants of the house returned home to find two unknown males in it. One of the males had a knife. When the occupants challenged the intruders they left the property. They stole a set of car keys.

The occupants of the house were not injured, however they were left very badly shaken.
