Houses vandalised in Hillcrest
A ROW of vacant houses in a Lurgan housing estate have been vandalised.
The recently completed but unoccupied houses in Hillcrest were targeted by vandals who smashed windows and damaged fittings inside the houses.
For almost six years residents have been calling for the development to be properly completed. Yet with footpaths and roads remaining unfinished, developers continued to build more houses.
The new builds that were targeted by vandals face onto the Portadown Road.
One resident said break-ins and vandalism at these unsold houses were a regular occurrence.
