“I welcome this major investment and I am glad that The Dales are not being overlooked and I hope the Housing Executive manage to keep to this agreed timescale.”

Lagan Valley MLA Jonathan Craig also welcomed the news that improvement work would be carried out at the Seymour Hill flats.

“Work on the common areas, as well as the kitchens and balconies, is long overdue,” said Mr Craig. I am pleased the Housing Executive have agreed to replace windows at The Dales and refurbish the ventilation system.

“All of this work will greatly improve the living conditions in the flats for residents and I know they will join me in urging the Housing Executive to complete the work as a matter of urgency.”
