HRH Prince of Wales ‘touched’ by council letter
Larne Borough Council has received its second letter of thanks from Clarence House in as many months.
Correspondence addressed to Larne Mayor Maureen Morrow from the Prince’s of Wales private secretary, Jonathan Hellewell, stated: “It was most kind of you to write as you did in connection with the birth of Prince George.
“I will convey your generous words to the Prince of Wales, who will be particularly touched, as I know that he remembers his visit to Larne with much pleasure.”
Mr Hellewell previously wrote to the council to express the Prince’s thanks after his visit to the town.
