HSCB Chairman welcomes New Non Executive Board Member

Mrs Stephanie Lowry has been appointed as a Non-Executive (Financial) Member to the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) for a four-year term.

Mrs Stephanie Lowry has been appointed as a Non-Executive (Financial) Member to the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) for a four-year term.

Mrs Lowry is currently an Independent Assessor for the Commissioner for Public Appointments and is a Member of the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Mrs Lowry also served as a Board Member with the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure and as Deputy Chair of the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland

Dr Ian Clements, Chairman, Health and Social Care Board, welcomed Stephanie to the Board.

He said: “On behalf of Members, I am delighted to be welcoming Stephanie to our Board. Mrs Lowry has many years of experience working both in private and public sector organisations. Her knowledge and experience of governance and accountability in government organisations will greatly assist the Board. Stephanie will be a valuable asset to the Board and we look forward to working with her.”

Speaking on her appointment, Mr Lowry, said: “I am delighted to be joining the Board and look forward to working with Members to ensure that health and social care services continue to meet the needs of our population today and into the future.”
