“We have had a couple of unconfirmed sightings of him on Saturday morning very near to our home,” said Tony.

“Harry has been our family pet for over 10 years and we are distraught at his loss.”

Harry has become a bit of a celebrity after appearing in the ‘Mail’ after his daredevil stunt down Slieve Donard last monty.

“I really feel we may have a chance of getting him back if people were aware he was missing,” he said, adding that the Dog Warden had been informed and that Harry is licensed and microchipped.

“We are not giving up hope just yet,” added Tony.
