Ian Donaghey MBEis new President ofCauseway Chamber

IAN Donaghey MBE was elected as president during Causeway Chamber’s AGM last Tuesday.

Ian said that he has been involved with the Chamber for 19years in his roles as Director and Treasurer.

Ian said he is very passionate about Coleraine and keen for the Chamber to grow and further develop their links with the retail sector.

“We need to talk our town up, support local businesses and let people know Coleraine is open for business,” he said.

He also called on all businesses that are not currently members to support the Chamber in its efforts to encourage and assist with the building of the infrastructure required for a prosperous future for us all.

Ian welcomed Anthony Newman of Newman Rea Wealth Management to his role of vice president. Membership of the Chamber Council, the body that governs the Chamber was increased with the election of David Boyd of Roadside Garages, Brett Ross of RiverRidge Recycling and Clare Shaw of B&E Security Systems.

The Chamber welcomes these members on board and thanks those who have stood down for their valued assistance. The corporate sponsors were also thanked at the AGM.
