Ice bucket challenge claims another victim
A community worker in Londonderry’s Fountain estate has become the latest person to take on the ice bucket challenge.
In recent weeks the charity fund-raising craze has swept throughout the North West, claiming some prominent victims including East Londonderry MP, Gregory Campbell, whose effort was filmed, including his good natured challenge to one of his best-known sparring partners, Radio Ulster heavyweight Stephen Nolan.
Now Fountain youth club leader Jeanette Warke has taken part in the challenge, which involves getting freezing cold water poured over a person, who must then pour another bucket over themselves. See the video for Jeanette’s reaction to the impact of the cold water.
